When I launched Invincible Family Substack a year and a half ago, I wrote, “Over the past 10 years, I’ve learned that it’s crucial to keep a keen eye on the unsettling horizon, but it’s even more important to sleep out under the stars and make cookies.”
I still believe this is true. Especially the cookie part. I try hard to keep you posted on what’s happening globally that will affect your family (more on that coming soon!) while balancing that content with offerings of peace, glances at the stars, and cookies.
In that spirit, I’ve started a new Instagram account called Non-Vegan Diva. I aim to showcase beautiful, delicious food for regular people and their families. I hope that’s YOU!
Through 25 years as a mom and as a makeshift chef who figured things out as I went along, I’ve learned that eating is a chance to connect. As we break bread (or chocolate) with our loved ones, we talk, we laugh, we listen, we reason, we spar, we console, we dream. In short, we come to know each other’s hearts around the table. As we eat, both the food on our plates and the worries in our minds tend to disappear. We get up from the table feeling renewed, filled, and satisfied—both body and soul. This cookbook will help you and those you love to refuel, recharge, and reconnect.
I’m a firm believer that food should provide joy as well as sustenance. I hope just looking at the food I post brings you joy (even if you never make any of it!) I’ve got lots of great holiday recipes on deck to show you over the coming festive months.
I’ve been working on this project for over a year, and I can’t wait to share it with you! Click on the button below to learn more and follow me if you’d like. I’d love to have you aboard! Here are some sneak peeks of food I haven’t posted yet:
