MARRY ME
Just in time for Valentine's Day...
With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, now is the perfect time to tell you about a new documentary I discovered about love and marriage. It’s called MARRY ME, and I loved it.
I won’t share my very favorite moment in the movie (because I don’t want to spoil any surprises for you) but one of my favorite people in the film was a man who had done a complete 180 in his personal life. He was a playboy who embraced wild living and almost lost his family and the love of his life. Then he changed. His change was so complete, and his honesty and humility are so potent, that it inspires my mind to the idea that anyone can change and that any marriage can be saved.
Here’s a little more about MARRY ME:
“In a culture increasingly skeptical of lifelong commitment, MARRY ME takes an honest and compelling look at the state of marriage in 21st-century America. Anchored by personal stories, expert insights, and emotional testimonies, the documentary investigates the steep decline in marriage rates and the cultural forces fueling it—rising individualism, careerism, social media influence, dating apps, and the scars of widespread divorce.”
“MARRY ME is a timely and heartfelt documentary that explores the evolving perception of marriage in modern America. Through raw interviews with young adults, seasoned couples, and leading experts, the film reveals why marriage rates are declining and what society stands to lose. In a culture shaped social media, hookup norms, and fear of commitment, the film makes a passionate case for rediscovering the beauty, purpose, and lasting value of covenantal love.”
“Through powerful testimonials of redemption, forgiveness, and perseverance, MARRY ME champions marriage as more than a romantic ideal. It’s a foundation for human flourishing, economic stability, personal growth, and generational impact. With vulnerability, humor, and spiritual conviction, the film calls viewers to reconsider what it means to love, sacrifice, and truly commit in an age of disposable relationships…The film doesn’t just diagnose the crisis—it offers hope.”
I promise you won’t be sorry you spend time this Valentine’s Day weekend watching MARRY ME!
Happy Valentine’s Day.
With love,
Kimberly
An odd but kind of endearing picture of me and my valentine :)
