Hooray!! Invincible Family Substack just turned two years old!!
Thank you for being part of the Invincible Family community. I consider it a privilege to write for you and your family (almost!) every week. Thank you for your commitment to YOUR family and to the family as the foundation of civilization. There is not a more important cause in all the universe than THE FAMILY.
The family is the vehicle to everything else that exists or happens in the world. Capable, competent people do a million things in a million ways every day. They create, manage, innovate, care, calculate, nurture, work, play, laugh, cry, dance, paint, organize, compose, write, speak, listen, invest, preach, plant, harvest, sketch, stretch, run, and fly.
All these remarkable people can do all these remarkable things because they were born to fathers and mothers who kept them alive. Most of these people grew up to be capable, competent people largely because of the love and mentoring they received in their families. In time, the capable, competent people who were nurtured by their parents become the parents who welcome babies into their lives. These new parents shift their hearts towards mentoring, loving, and cherishing the next generation of humanity, and the whole thing starts over again, and again, and again. It can hardly be stopped. In fact, it is nearly INVINCIBLE.
